LOCH LOMOND - Live at Loch Lomond Festival 5th August 2007

A drive so long that we were able to watch the whole of 'Return of the King', reveals Loch Lomond in all it's rain drenched glory. Our stage time draws ever nearer to midday as the morning wears on and so we find ourselves on stage about 5:30 in the afternoon. Amazingly the crowd are still up for it but the rain doesn't stop all day. Shame, Loch Lomond looks beautiful through the haze.

The day in one photo. Thought it was going to be a slow day for the Monkey Basket camera, here's a veiw from the dressing room. Rob very sensibly buys himself some very resonably priced (15 quid) wellies. That sensible foot wear again. Triffids infest the rider.
No smoking under more pain of death. Danny proudly displays his war wounds. Loch Lomond through the rain. Our early stage time leaves everyone twiddling their thumbs for the rest of the day. Gaz spends his trying to look handsom Meanwhile Demps attempts five free dinners in catering
Gaz can't find the welly stall so goes for the plastic bag option Mike and me decide to go for a walk and spot the PS Maid of the Loch, the last paddle steamer built in Britain and resident of the Loch since 1953 A tree lined view looking North Me and Mike manage to blag our way onto a speed boat.

The two very accommodating locals take us to the nearby island of Inchmurrin for a swift pint in the pub and I get this shot as I stumble back to the boat.

Mike even gets a quick go at the helm on the way back Rob relaxes in the back lounge of the bus on the way home.
