GUILFORD - Guilfest 13th July 2007

The evil omens of Friday the 13th failed to dampen the spirits for our headline slot at Guilfest. A very beautiful crowd, warm non-rainy evening and managed to play four new songs tonight without any major cock-ups. For anyone looking to label their illegal bootleg of the evening, those songs are: ‘Diamond Hoo-Ha Man’, ‘Rough Knuckles’, ‘Butterfly Wings’ and ‘Bad Blood’. Please note that these are working titles and may very well change when we think of better ones.

Gaz flouts the new smoking ban in the back stage area. He just doesn't care Looking very silly with a finger over the auto-focus Danny succeeds in ignoring the Monkey Basket camera to continue his important conversation even though it is annoyingly, right in his face. Rob Coombes looking chipper after his marrathon keyboard workout on the stage. Mike and Gaz dissect the finer points of the performance at huge length in the dressing room.
Very nice to see Grace Difford, namesake of our 'Life on Other Planets' single, dropping by to say hello. Oi Butler Aftermath. And when Supergrass go to bed....
