CARL SAGAN SPRINGTIME FOR SUPERGRASS IN EUROPE TOUR

STRASBOURG - LA LAITERIE 9th April 2003

Strasbourg, capital of Alsace and of Europe. I did take a delightful walk around the historic city center but unfortunately the battery on my camera was flat so I've included a few artistic impressions of the beautiful buildings and various things of interest.

The Barrage Vauban, a 17th century defensive dam built to protect the city center from flooding Random light fittings in the ceiling of la Laiterie Nice mural of cows probably there because we deduced that La Laiterie must translate as 'The Dairy' Gerry's impression of an organ grinder with a disgruntled accordion player behind being drowned out by the organ. No monkey's in sight.  Floor plan of La Laiterie sadly out of focus
