Lycabettus Hill or the Hill of
Wolves is topped by the church of St. George. Sadly, no wolves live there
today.

Commissioned
in the 5th century BC by the great leader Pericles, the Pathanon is
dedicated to the Goddess Athena, patron of Athens. Built to replace the
original wooden structure that was burnt to the ground by invading
Persians in 480 BC. Considered to be the zenith of Classical Greek
architecture the Parthenon contains not one single straight line.
